General Information
 
GD6300 Capacitance & Tan Delta Tester is a high precision testing instrument for measuring capacitance and dielectric loss factor (tgδ) of various high voltage power equipment. The instrument is integrated structure, built-in dielectric loss test bridge, variable frequency adjustable power supply, booster transformer and high stability SF6 standard capacitor. It can test grounded equipments, not-grounded equipments, and completely-sealed CVT (Capacitor Voltage Transformer). Testing high voltage source is produced by the instrument internal inverter, then is used for tested objects after boosting by transformer and the frequency is 45 to 55Hz (or 55 to 65Hz) to avoid the electromagnetic interference from power frequency, in order to ensure the measuring accuracy. The test is automatically completed by microcomputer.
