Impulse Voltage Test System is mainly used to generate lightning impulse voltage, to research and check the ability of lightning impulse ability of electric equipment. It can generate standard lightning waveform and chopping waveform.
The system can be used for impulse voltage test and other scientific research on GIS, cable, insulators, air gap, bushing, transformers etc.

Impulse voltage waveform and efficiency

When the positive and negative polarity lightning shock wave is no-load, the voltage utilization coefficient is ≥90%.
Standard lightning chopping wave: wave head time: 1.2±30%µs, truncation time: 3-6µs.
With Glaninger circuit, Auxiliary regulation in the low-voltage circuit is equivalent to high-voltage wave modulation resistor to optimize the waveform.

- The waveform of the power supply voltage is a sine wave, the waveform distortion rate is less than 3%, the frequency is 50Hz, and the power supply side should not suffer from overvoltage from the outside.
- There should be a reliable grounding point, the grounding power grid should have good impact characteristics, the grounding resistance should not be greater than 0.5Ω in the steady state.
