General Information
HV-OWS-63 Oscillating Wave Test System (OWTS) for On-site PD Diagnostics of 10kV Cables is an integrated partial discharge location and management system. Test frequency varies from 50Hz to hundreds of Hertz under damping AC voltage.
It simulates the running state of the cable by applying voltage, and can induce partial discharge and detect its intensity and location. It uses a hollow inductor in series with the tested cable, and charges its series circuit through a high-voltage DC source. When the charging voltage reaches a preset value, it closes the electronic switches connected in parallel at both ends of the power source, thereby forming a damping oscillation circuit, generating an oscillating voltage, and this oscillating voltage is used to excite the partial discharge at the insulation defect of the cable, and the quality of the cable insulation can be judged by detecting the partial discharge.

HV-OWS series is an integrated partial discharge test system, mainly used for partial discharge diagnosis of medium voltage cables. The system test frequency is 50Hz to several hundreds of Hz damping AC voltage, the damping AC voltage generated by the system during the test process can reach 60kV, and it is combined with advanced system hardware and system software for diagnosis.
