HVHIPOT BISA Broadband Impedance Spectrum Analyzer
BISA Broadband Impedance Spectrum Analyzer is a compact and portable device for diagnosing local cable conditions and locating defects. Whether in a laboratory environment or in a complex on-site electromagnetic environment, the instrument can complete tests quickly and non-destructively with extremely high accuracy, significantly reducing power outage time.
This equipment is based on transmission line theory and utilizes the impedance characteristics of cables to measure impedance changes at different frequencies. Through digital signal processing,it can accurately measure and locate cable structures or defects. By injecting a swept-frequency signal and applying a Fourier transform at the cable head, it achieves precise measurement of cable structure, impedance and other parameters, as well as accurate location of minute defects. The electromagnetic waves generated by these high-frequency voltage signals generate reflected voltages when they encounter inhomogeneous media during propagation through the cable. By processing the frequency-reflected voltage amplitude using a time-to-frequency conversion algorithm, the wave impedance characteristics of each region of the cable are determined.The test software developed based on the C language platform makes the cable testing and diagnosis process simpler and faster.Before testing, you only need to set a few parameters to start measuring. The intelligent positioning assist function can intuitively show the specific location and severity of the defect.
