YDQW Series PD Free Gas Testing Transformer 5kVA/10kV AC
I.General information
The test transformer is the necessary test equipment for power equipment inspection and preventive test. With the development of the electric power industry, the requirements for the voltage level of the test transformers are getting higher and higher, and the traditional oil-immersed test transformers are unable to meet the requirements of field work in terms of volume, weight and performance.
With the progress of scientific research, the application of new materials and new processes, the new medium sulfur hexafluoride gas has been pushed to the application field of power equipment. Due to its excellent insulating properties, arc extinguishing properties, and incombustibility, sulfur hexafluoride gas is widely used as a new insulating medium. Especially in the power supply without partial discharge, SF6 gas is the best insulating medium.
Compared with traditional oil-immersed testing transformers, this series of products is 20%-60% lighter in weight (depending on the voltage and capacity level), and has no oil pollution. The voltage level of a single test transformer can reach 300KV. Due to the adoption of a new production process, the technical performance of the product has been greatly improved, and it is especially suitable for field work.
SF6 gas has good electrical insulation performance and excellent arc extinguishing performance. Its compressive strength is 2.5 times that of nitrogen under the same pressure, and its breakdown voltage is 2.5 times that of air. It is equal to the breakdown voltage of oil under 0.25MPa, and twice the breakdown voltage of oil under 0.45MPa pressure. It is a new generation of ultra-high voltage insulating dielectric material superior to oil.
The product has the characteristics of small size, light weight, not affected by climate change, small corona, no need to be stationary for on-site handling, long service life, maintenance-free and so on. It is suitable for power systems, industrial and mining enterprises, scientific research departments, etc. to conduct dielectric strength tests on various high-voltage electrical equipment, electrical components, and insulating materials under power frequency.
