Product Description

I. General information

At present, electrical equipment (such as transformers,generators, etc.) is developing towards large capacity,high voltage,diversified structure and sealing.This requires the insulation resistance tester to have the characteristics of large capacity,strong anti-interference ability,and easy to carry.For this reason,our company has specially designed and developed this series of instruments for testing the electrical insulation resistance characteristics of large high-voltage transformers,motors and electrical appliances,long-distance power cables or buried cables in strong interference sites such as high-voltage substations and power plants.
This series of instruments combines the advantages of analog circuits, digital circuits, and mechanical operations, and has achieved a leading position in output voltage, output current, measurement range, measurement accuracy, and anti-interference ability.

II. Features
  1. Strong anti-interference ability: The anti-electric field induction interference ability reaches 2mA (50Hz), which is known to be suitable for measuring the insulation resistance parameters of 500kV large transformers at 500kV substations without removing the wires.
  2. Large short-circuit current: The typical short-circuit current is 10mA, which is suitable for testing large capacity and large inductance.
  3. Wide resistance measurement range: The measurement range is from 0.01MΩ to 1999GΩ, with accurate readings and high resolution.
  4. The high voltage output range is wide: 0.25kV, 0.5kV, 1kV, 2.5kV, 5kV, 10kV can be selected, and it can also be smoothly adjusted from 0V to the required voltage.

Note:
Calibration voltage is 0.5kV for  range.
Calibration voltage is 2.5kV for  range.
Test voltage range to ensure resistance measurement accuracy: above 20% nominal voltage .
When test voltage is above 8kV, to measure resistance above 20GΩ accurately, HV electrode exposed in the air should adds insulation bandage in case of lower readings due to air ionization.

1.Anti-interference ability of electric field: 2mA(50/60Hz)

2.Time-giving and alarm. The upper limit of stopwatch is 19 minutes and 59 seconds. A cycle is 20 minutes. The time-giving points are at the 15th and 60th second,each minute, and short sound is heard at the same time. Resistance reading remains for 3 seconds. The measured resistance is lower than the lower limit of measurement range. If the reading is invalid, continuous sound alarm will be given.

3.Display meter: 3 1/2 LCD digital meter 3pcs, which display voltage, resistance and time respectively.

6.Power supply: DC12V power supply (10pcs 1.2V/2000mAh nickel-metal hydride rechargeable battery); battery charging or float charging via 220V (50/60Hz) input port.
