Usage Method and Cautions

• Before use, choose the appropriate voltage level electroscope and telescopic insulating rod, according to rated voltage of tested electrical equipment.
• Electrical test operation in non full power outage occasion, the voltage detector should be test on the electric part, and then go to the construction sector to test, finally back to the electric part for re-test, to ensure safety. This operation shall not be replaced by self-checking button test of voltage detector, self-checking button test for reference only.
• Electrical test operation in full power outage occasion, before the operation, should use high voltage signal generator with corresponding voltage level to verify the integrity of the voltage detector.
• Stretch out all of the insulation rod before using, the operation of the hand cannot exceed the prescribed safety ring, the contact terminal of voltage detector contact at the electrified body with same voltage level, if the voltage detector send out an intermittent sound and light signal, indicates that the charged body with electricity. Otherwise, it shows that the charged body without electricity.
• The use of voltage detector to operate on electrical equipment should be carried out in accordance with the regulation of power safety, in order to ensure the safety of personal and equipment, the voltage detector must carry out regular preventive tests.
• Long term does not use, should be removed the battery, in order to avoid the battery liquid overflow, corroded parts. If you need to replace the battery, just unscrew the cover on the electroscope, take off the battery baffle and replace the new battery.
• The electroscope should be stored in ventilated, dry place environment, pay special attention to moisture proof, so as not to affect the safety and life of the electroscope.
• The normal life of the electroscope is three years from the date of left factory, over the useful life, should be tested before use, the maximum service life shall not exceed five years.
