General introduction

AC hipot testing is the effective and direct way to test insulation strength for electric equipments. It check dangerous flaws and make sure electric equipment continuous working. It typically used to test insulation strength for all kinds of electrical equipments, components like capacitors, insulation materials.

The controller should be equipped with transformer to boost. There are three types of testing transformers for optional:

1. Oil type testing transformer is popular voltage booster. It is costive which owns the features of high insulation strength and good heat dissipation.
2. Dry type testing transformer is adopted with new technic of winding epoxy vacuum puring and CD type Iron core. It is light weight, small size, nice appearance, stable performance, easy to carry, which is suitable for on-site.
3. Gas type testing transformer incorporates the most advanced SF6 gas application technic, with Outstanding nonflammability; Light weight, small size, no oil pollution; Unaffected by climate, little corona, long service life;



Features

7. Zero start function. Testing can be proceed after voltage is back to zero.

8. When the voltage is arrived at setting value, timing starts automatically. After timing, the voltage is back to  zero automatically.

9. When the value is over setting HV current or LV current, the voltage output will be cut off automatically and  voltage is back to zero. It will also alarm with sound and light.

10. In testing process, the testing can be canceled. Emergency stop button is designed for any emergency  situation.
